The Next Chapter
After years of herbs, remedies, magic, and community, I'm building the next chapter through Hemlock Springs Soaps — bringing together handmade goat milk soap, botanical body care, herbal support, and the same heart behind it all. Scroll down to join me for what's next. 💜
A Little Note From Karen
Tangled Roots Herbal changed my life.
For years, it gave me a place to create, connect, teach, and help people reconnect with themselves through herbs, ritual, self-care, and community. Some of you have been here since the beginning. Some of you wandered in somewhere along the way. Either way — thank you. Truly.
But life shifts. Businesses evolve. And honestly? So do we.
Hemlock Springs Soaps is becoming the new home for the things I love most:
small-batch soap, herbal body care, practical herbal support, comforting rituals, and products made for real humans doing their best in a very weird world.
Some things are changing.
The heart behind it isn't.
And I’d genuinely love for you to come with me.

Question:
Is Tangled Roots Herbal disappearing completely?
Answer:
Not exactly. This is more of an evolution than an ending. Many favorite products, ideas, and herbal offerings are finding a new home within Hemlock Springs Soaps.
Question:
Will herbs still be part of the business?
Answer:
Absolutely. Herbal support, teas, tinctures, and botanical body care are still deeply woven into what I create — just in a more focused and sustainable way.
Question:
Will the emails still sound like Karen?
Answer:
Unfortunately for all of us… yes. 🤣
