I can’t believe I forgot to put this one on the website, because it’s quietly one of the best soaps I make. Truly. This Milk & Honey bar is soft, creamy, and comforting in a way that surprised me — especially since the fragrance out of the bottle didn’t hint at how lovely it would turn out.

I’m very glad I get to share it instead of keeping it all to myself.

This isn’t a sharp honey scent or anything overly sweet. It’s milk and honey the way you want it to be — gentle, warm, and easy to live with.

Why This Soap Works

This bar is built to be kind to skin. Goat milk creates a creamy, gentle lather, shea butter and castor oil add richness, and a healthy dose of local honey brings extra softness to the formula.

Honey has a long history of being used in skin care because it’s naturally gentle and plays well with just about everyone’s skin. Paired with a mild, creamy scent, the result is a soap that feels nurturing instead of flashy.

It cleans well, feels good, and doesn’t ask anything of you beyond showing up in the shower.

A Note on This Batch

Just a heads-up for returning fans: I am using a fragrance  from a different supplier. It’s still wonderful — just slightly different from previous batches. That’s part of working with real ingredients in small batches.
